There are times, Mandy, there are times when I wish that we recorded our entire conversation. We always have a little debrief before we start and before I find you, Mandy. And sometimes those conversations would get us arrested, but sometimes those conversations are funnier than anything we can make up to say on here. There's a reason. There's a reason. There's a reason. There's a reason the professionals have what they call ABR. Always be recording. Yep. Yeah, I need to learn to edit. After I graduate from Candler in May, that's what I'm going to learn to do is do this more so I can judge us up. And that's going to be the first thing. We're going to record it all and then do an outtakes. We're going to do it all because there are so many things. Oh, but I found you that I'm so glad I found you. What more could you want? Not a big thing. Red face putting a migraine cap on her head. We will definitely talk about why she has it and what's going on, but y'all, I literally just cried laughing at Mandy and I don't normally laugh at people, but it was absolutely at Mandy. She asked for it. It brightened my day. Oh, no, Katie. What's happening? Well, you know, I did these notes earlier in the day and I do have a honey update. Honey is doing great. Honey is relaxing into her environment. Honey is playing. She is becoming more energetic. Her little personality is coming out. She is feisty and I love it. Sometimes she sleeps like she's doing right now. But then right before we recorded, I had to run up the road to go carry her little 24 pound self all the way back to the house because she chased a cat. Listen, she didn't mean to. But cat is that cat's fault. It is an iceberg. It's the cat's fault. She looked at me. She looked at me and then looked away and ran. She was very intentional. You just wanted to make sure you were watching where she was telling. Well, she normally, and I've talked about this. She walks with me most of the time. I mean, she'll run off and chase the squirrel, but she always comes back. She does not like for me to be away from her. But that cat today was too tempting. And now that we're used to our environment, we'll be wearing a harness. But she's really, I mean, y'all, she's doing great. It's so fun to watch, Mandy. You told me that it'll be about three weeks and they start really settling in and then more and more. And it's so true. She's gotten used to our little nightly routine. She's not worried anymore when I start doing my face creams at night. She just sits there and waits for me to come to bed. I mean, she'll come in the kitchen now. She'll come in the bathroom. You know, it's just amazing to watch what a little love will do for a dog. And it's so funny to watch my sister had a dog pebbles and whenever my sister would spray hairspray on her hair. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was the final touch. And then Julie was very late. But every time I would turn the television off, Edda would get up off the sofa. Yeah. It's, you know, it's funny. The keys of yours that they eventually pick up on and then yes, work into the they ever know. Absolutely. Absolutely. There's a dog. You remember the name of the account, but there's a box or on TikTok, you know, my new obsession. The woman puts text to the dog into the bed, puts an eye mask like on her forehead, obviously, because she has to watch her iPad. Hmm. She props the iPad up and the dog watches like nature shows. Hmm. And then one time the dog wouldn't lie to you and she's like, what is your problem? And finally, she got the eye mask out and put it on the dog and the dog then been like down in the bed and went to sleep. I've thought about doing something similar, but you know, I'm using all these face creams to try to stay de-wrinkled. And I've thought about like getting her a little population for nose or something. So when I'm doing mine, we can do her, you know, my friend Tiffany, Edda used to love Tiffany, live with me for a little while and whenever Tiffany would start drying her hair, Edda would run in the bathroom and just stay in there with Tiffany the whole time she's getting ready. Tiffany would dry her and she'd pull a makeup on her. I love it. Yeah. I think we should. I think we should. Not today though. She's grounded. She's grounded today. The cat's fault. Yes it is, but still she's grounded. The other thing that's happening is the United States Postal Service is letting me down, ordered things like very, very early March and they sat in the Atlanta distribution. We talked about this last week. Yeah, still there. So I finally reordered them and one of the places got smart and used UPS for the reorder. The other place did not. So I don't think we're going to have any more luck with the second order. I still have a package in my box that I can't get out. Oh, you do. The sticky note has not worked. Not yet. Not yet. Still there. I put the sticky note on the sign of the box. Right. Later, the who knows if it made it. Just, you know, spring break. Yeah. Well, who knows what's going on down there. Right. Right. So hopefully one of them will around. I will keep you posted on the other one. I'm very skeptical that round two will be any different than round one. Is your YouTube driver's license? No. Okay. No, but I, you know, I have 12 more days. I have to wait. Lowered. So dumb. It's so dumb, y'all. I had spring break last week. Of course, I didn't have. I did some schoolwork, but it wasn't the routine of going to class all the time. I was so sad to go. This week, I like member professors so much. I can't say that enough. It's not them at all. I'm just tired. I'm done. Yeah. Senioritis. So I'm just done. When you can save it in that gets harder. Yes. And at this point, I'm not going to fail them. But if I failed the two classes, I would still graduate. I don't want to. But I don't want to lose. I don't want to fight my ass. And I have to learn from her. So, and I think it's a good thing to do. And that is just not helping. Right. I mean, I'm going to do it, but I'm just grumpy about it. My college roommate was the best at that. Like figuring out all I have to make on this test is an. 80. And I'm still having to. So we would always. And make those call it. She would make those. Yeah, yeah. I wish I could. I'd figured out immediately. Like, do I have to do this assignment at all? Maybe not. Right. And then you also remember that at our age when you're back in school, you would like to keep it in mind that you're doing this for your own enrichment, more safe than a grade. But that gets real hard to remember in these times. Yes, indeed. Yes. Indeed. I remember. I have left and it's painful. I mean, if you're in school, you ought to at least also be able to go sit at the frat house on the old sofa in the front yard and drink a cold beer on a beautiful spring afternoon. Right. I'll be able to do both. Why don't you drive down the making? I don't think that the frat boy is making it. Mercer won't need to show up. I feel sure some of those boys would just welcome you with open arms to just have a seat on their sofa. Sure. I think you should try it. Okay. This is my old self. There's too much pollen. My car is yellow. In prison, I was 25 when I was born. That has always been my position about spring. Yeah. I got it. So I've got a little thing to go through the car wash up and parry when I get to the grocery store. And so I run through the car wash every time I did that on Sunday and by Monday afternoon, it's got a huge thick layer of pollen. Yeah. Why don't I ventra? You know, I hear you. I hear you. Yep. The only thing other than seeing Mendy every week and our friends on this podcast that is bringing me joy is basketball has been fun. Y'all know, I've said it a many times. I don't normally watch TV basketball. I love anything live, but basketball is just not one of my favorite TV watches. Used to be baseball as well, but now that they've shortened things, it's not eight hours of your day to watch a baseball game. So that's much better, but I've really enjoyed some of these basketball games and March of the madness. So that's been fun. So I have you all are following along. And they now have wild card games for the final, for the March madness. So those are happening now. And there's all this drama around North Carolina getting in and people like West Virginia not getting in. It's fun to watch. But I was just listening to Katie Nolan's podcast that I talked about a couple of weeks ago. It's the ideas to draw more people into sports. So it's called the casuals. I think it says casual waters and so she can't I trust the people. And I think what's going on? And she read a quote from the governor of West Virginia. Oh, yeah. About what a miscarriage of justice. Yeah. Let me see if I'm right. I would say is sir, I'm going to need you to rethink your priorities because I believe there might be a thing or two more important in the state of West Virginia for you to focus your indignity upon other than basketball. I'm just saying it. Yes. I can't imagine what that would be, ma'am. I don't know. Have you heard of that? Yeah. I think they're a red state too, if I remember correctly. So yeah, so there's lots of drama. It's lots of fun. I was looking for the quote, but I couldn't get it fast enough. But it's fun. So I hope that you have a bracket somewhere. I hope that you're watching. It'll be fun to follow along. I feel that two brackets. And yeah, loyalty to my nephew, who once picked the Mercer Bears to win it all. In both my brackets, I have picked the Auburn Tigers. There we go. So in it all. Because that's what family does. Y'all there we go. There we go. I'm not sure we're, I don't know. We'll see. As an Auburn fan, I appreciate your support. I'll tell you what else I cannot do. Like physiologically, cannot do is ever pick the University of Tennessee to win a game. Right. I know you can't. I know. I'm thinking Florida. Florida's on fire. I really think they have a better chance of winning the we are. I think we picked too early. I think we have a real season. And I really think we picked too early. So that's what I'm worried about. But Florida's really done very well. I think all these sickle dip and you're gonna come back. I'm so it's a fire that long. You're going to come back. Right. I really hope so. So we'll see. We'll see. I also picked Wofford to win. Because I'm more so beat. Do I'm going to be true? Yep. To my so kind conference. Yep. Pick them for the upset. That's a good upset. Pick. I had all the time. I'm really. If you want to pick an upset pick, here's the key. Just be sure that in the other game that's going to be in that bracket, you know, like the next game they would play. Just make sure you don't pick an upset in two. A decent boxes. Because then you will have two upset picks playing each other. And that's very likely not going to happen. Nope. So pick your upset. But then make sure that whoever would be playing in the next go round is the favorite. There we go. There we go. I love that. We're accurate advice for you. Love that advice. Love it. Well, Mandy, what's going on with you? Baseball is back. Look at that. All the sports balls are happening. I mean, now did I set my alarm for 5 a.m. to get up and watch the daughters and the cubs? No, I did not. Oh, okay. Yeah. No. I can imagine. No, I did not. I did turn it on yesterday. I don't mean you turn it on today. I did turn it on yesterday once I woke up. And let's just say the daughters are obnoxious. They're just obnoxious. Like yesterday, our buddy, Mookie, but in Mookie got sick, y'all. I don't know if he had a flu. I don't know what happened. Somehow another day for average claimed he lost 15 pounds. Right? He doesn't have 15 pounds to lose. No. So Mookie was already like they had announced at least the day before, maybe two days before that Mookie was not going to be starting. In fact, there was something he might go ahead and fly on home to LA. He was so sick. But then Freddie was a last minute scratch with pain in his rib cage, which apparently he was also suffering at the end of last season, which makes that green slam. He hit all the more remarkable. But he, yeah, so he scratched like, I don't even have 40 minutes before the game. And I haven't even looked to see if he played today. But so the daughters did not have Freddie. They did not have Mookie and they are still just obnoxious. They're just obnoxious. They're pitching. They got, if y'all will remember in this offseason, every pitcher who was not every, but the majority of pitchers who were worth a flip. Yeah. And with the Dodgers. Oh, yeah, yeah, that's right. I'd forgotten about that. Carter, closer. You did make any relief. I mean, every single pitcher. So they're bullpen. I think they retired something like 15 or 16 cubs in a row. Wow. I mean, it's just, they're just ridiculous. Yeah. I still don't. Like the fillies are still like the team that scare me the most. Yeah. I don't know what that is. It's sort of like one soda. I would rather face one soda every single day than tri-turner. Just because for the braves, tri-turner is like, kryptonite for the braves. One soda. He's never, I mean, he's good. He's a really good player, but he didn't just kill the braves. Yeah. Tri-turner pulls the braves. So it's sort of like that. It's like the Dodgers, I don't know. We've always been, since I was a little girl, we've always just been competitive with the Dodgers. So even though they're this, you know, gargantuan entities sitting out west, signing everybody that's any good, I still feel like we can still be firm, but it just, it's like it's not even fun to watch just so good. Yeah. It's not fair. Yeah. It's never in any sport to me. It's never fun to watch a lopsided game. And then when even all that lopsided, from what I read, like I said, I didn't watch it. But I mean, the scores look lopsided and it's just, you know, just gets boring. But can you see how the first hit of the 2025 season of the 2020 season? Of course. Good. I scored the first run of the 2025 season. So love it. It's off to a good start. And then in better baseball news, I will say that last night, my MRS bears beat the number five Florida State Seminole's go bears. How do you like me now? That's the third midweek game in a year. So college baseball, they play on Tuesday nights and then they play weekend series. So typically your Tuesday games are, you know, just somebody's sort of, you know, they're not like conference games and like that. So FSU probably pays MRS. They were talking to this sort of connection with the coaches. So I'm sure that's why it happens. They did play a series a couple of years ago in early season series and FSU did win that. But for the past three years, MRS has beaten FSU in the midweek game. Love it. They're going to be real quick and biting us down there. They are indeed. I mean, number five and we beat the stew out of them. And and even, well, not even better, but also good news. ETSU, Eastern Tennessee State University. Ma'am. We beat the Tennessee volunteers last night who were ranked number one and were undefeated until they got beat by ETSU. ETSU. I love to see you. Tennessee. Love to see it. So yes, a college baseball spiny say, you know, last weekend was the first weekend of SCC play. Yeah, I was about to say I haven't even lifted Auburns. They need to play Auburn and that guy. I got a three. They took the series. Okay. I don't know what happened Sunday. We were ahead like six to nothing. And I can't remember now why I turned it off. It's my fault. It's my fault. Sorry, Vandy. I turned it off. Auburn had started tipping away. But when I turned it off, we were still ahead. And then apparently somebody had a green slam and y'all beat us. So not mad about it. Was not good. But we play at Texas A&M this weekend. And I'll actually be in Nashville. So I'm sure we'll be going to some of those games. Love that. And yeah, they were ranked number one preseason. And they have fallen out. They are no longer in the top 25. So okay. It would be interesting. Interesting to see. But you know, this early conference play, it matters. Yeah. I think it will be the day because when they start figuring out who's going to host a regional and all that sort of stuff, they can't how many series you have won. And so to that extent, it's important. But sort of like we were talking about with the Auburn basketball team. It's just a matter of peaking at the right time. And so I just don't get all exercised at this point. Yeah. I think it's still sort of a to be determined as to what's going to happen. So you hear that car? Yeah, I did. Time. Dang. It's purple. Mm. I pulled a charge. Well, that explains it. That's a very tall man in that car. Mm-hmm. And then just, you know, because it's spring break and I'm just, you know, generally, ornary, just had a few things. It made the kind of series that I do. I don't know. I feel like I start series and they were finishing. But this one is they roll back around though. What I think about them. This is things that cannot get behind. Love this. Um, first on my list is hot avocado. Okay. Don't want it. It's not natural. Avocado should be cold or room temperature at best. Yes. I will also say I don't generally just like a slice of avocado. Mm. Okay. I want it mashed up with some other things. Okay. Avocado toast as long as it's mashed up and we've got some everything that's a bagel seasoning or some nice flaky sea salt on it. And that's fine. I don't think it. People who just eat an avocado, it's better than a carrot stick. Yes. But because it doesn't have a crunch and it doesn't taste like a swimming pool. There we go. Um, but a hot avocado. Wow. I think I mean sushi unless it's like deep fried is all cold salads. I want it cold. Like I don't normally have avocado either. It sounds gross. Right? Yeah. Okay. Um, and the second thing. These pillows that they sell that they make you adjust your own filling. The things that piss you off really are just so random and wonderful. Hot avocado. Don't make me responsible for my own pillow filling. That is your job. When you sell me a pillow. I do not want to be responsible for my pillow filling. There we go. It's wrong. It's wrong. I never thought about it, but I could not agree more. Thank you, Katie. That's the correct answer. So sign on that. Pillow makers. Thumb. It is. Fix the pillow and you sell it to me. There we go. Just it. I don't know. I don't know what I would have. I don't know. That's your job. You're the pillow expert. Of course we know it's a pillow. It isn't this country. That's right. Oh, really. Right. Right. Oh, anyway. Those were my deep thoughts. Just wait y'all. Not next week. The next week. I'm going to be on painkillers. It's going to be great. Content. It's going to be amazing. And if we're really nice. She'll wear the migraine headaches. Leave. And I'll get a picture of it this time. I'm going to go back to the last week. I'm going to go back to the last week. It's going to be amazing. And if we're really nice. She'll wear the migraine headaches. Leave. And I'll get a picture of it this time. I'm going to go back to the last week. Posting that on Instagram. That's a point. While I'm wearing a nose. I hope so. I hope so. I still stand on the table. And I will. Post a nasal rinse video. We'll do. Don't post the rinse. But if we don't get a sling with a migraine sleeve. Everhead. I will be very disappointed. I will be very disappointed. Oh, Katie. Save a start to us about food. Well, I went a little different this week. Because I have gotten some new products. To make one of my favorite drinks. And I mean, this is not even timely. Because we're moving out of winter. And bourbon is a winter, e-drink. Although I drink it year round. I love Watch. And I love a good old fashioned. And a friend of mine told me about some mixers and ingredients for an old fashioned and I have loved these. So what I did was I also, I did the research, man, my dug deep and I found the original company websites for us. Now, can you find them at all the places? Yes, you can. That's not what we're doing anymore. Now, we're doing anymore. So the first thing, and this is the one that my friend sent me that I had never had before and that I am loving and that I went onto this website. I'm glad I did because they have a wide variety of yummy looking stuff for drink mixers. But it's a candied orange peel and it's in like a syrup. So just like the cherries, which Woodford Reserve cherries are my favorite and I tagged them in here as well. Just like the cherries, I put a little bit of the orange syrup in the old fashioned as well. They are delicious. They're soft enough and sweet enough that you can also eat them. Mm hmm. This company has lemon peel, orange peel. They have all kinds of fun stuff. They have mixers. I have tagged another old fashioned mixer but they have simple syrup, set collins and mixers and all those kind of things. It's a Chicago based company. I was looking around on the website and just loved all of it. So I may order some more stuff for there. But the candied orange peel is delicious. I don't suppose this one's the best. Yeah, it's really good. So like I said, those are the two things I usually put in it. So the candied orange peel and the Woodford Reserve cherries, which we've all liked for a long time. But I went ahead and linked it. The thing that the mixer that I have found that I found at Publix, but you can find all a wide variety of different places is called Bar Smith. But I also tagged them because they have a large line of different items and things. It's not expensive, but it's really, really good. So you're old fashioned doesn't have to cost you $85 to make. But the Bar Smith mix with some whiskey and these candied orange peels in a cherry too, it's just delicious. So. But does the mix, what? To some trying to think, when I make an old fashioned, I think I just do like a sugar cube, I think there is people that always see the apple syrup. And then the bourbon and some bitters. It's got the bitters in it. I don't add, well, maybe I did add bitters to, but I don't normally add much more bitters. I'm pulling up the website to see what's in it. But it's really good. But I'm looking at, they had, so if you like olives, the Bar Smith had a huge line of olives, like pimento stuffed olives, blue cheese stuffed olives, they've got the little perl onions as well, where the others did not have the olives like that. But I really enjoyed my, here we go. I really enjoyed my old fashioned made with this. It's got water, cane sugar, honey, natural flavors, citric acid, so it's got the bitters already in it. So yeah, so there we go. That's my recipe for the week. My friend, I'm so behind this. I haven't actually, like when I went to New York, I had some beverages in New York, but I've just been feeling so crappy for so long. I haven't really been wanting to drink a whole lot. So I can't wait until all this snot is out of my head. And hopefully, sometimes people lose their sense of smell and taste, temporarily. Okay. So hopefully that will happen. Now be ready to work. Yeah. By the time spring break is over. Amen. And amen. So Manny, tell us about your favorites. Well, first off, how excited are we about this? Manny Polar has a new podcast, y'all. Yeah. Called Good Hang with Amy Polar. And she says basically, she's so about how men have the freedom to just be silly and have fun. And women are always having to like do podcasts about men and pals and whatever it like. Amy, keep coming with us. She absolutely good. So she has just started a podcast that's just like fun. She's just gonna be fun. And the first segment was, y'all should follow on Instagram because the visual of this was even better than just listening to it, although that was really funny too. And I'm not fun now. Going to Instagram. Do you have, so one of the things she's gonna do apparently is she's gonna have a guess every week. But then before she interviews the guest, she's going to invite people who know the guests and ask them like questions. She should ask the guest. So her first guess was Tina Fey. So she had Rachel Giratt, Seth Meyers, a woman who's been on the road with she and Tina. Who's the same up comedian, who I had not heard of. And oh, who's the guy that does the Portland India armistice and Brennar's? I'm looking at it. So she has the order. No, that was a different one. So she had me on and she was like, I mean, I got it. It was for Ed Armistice. That's why I said, I got it. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. So she was like, what should I ask Tina? And so they were like on a Zoom screen like all of them. And Rachel Dratch trying to get her headphones on and then about the time she finally get settled, the doorbell rings and her dog starts barking because she had ordered food. And Amy getting so tickled at Rachel Dratch during all this was probably the best. Like I was crying too. I was laughing. So I was just a good, fun, pure, you know, and then of course Tina Fey is just awesome. So it was just a good laugh. So having not listened to the Martin Short one yet, but he's the second episode. So I will say on Insta, don't just do good hang pod. Yeah, that's a different. That's where I was. I was trying to get it corrected when you were saying that I was like, oh no, that's not them. Good hang with Amy. I think is the next one. And I put that in the notes. So you will have it defined it. Oh, there's my next one. Sorry, my next one is I keep me into mentioned this woman and I keep forgetting. Her name is Manouche Zemmerodi. And she at first heard of her when she had a podcast called No to Self. Okay. And it was out of the New York public radio station and it was always fascinating. She does a lot of work with sort of ourselves and technology and how that, you know, how I can remember her talking about, she was the first person I ever talked about how I remember ever talking about how we're never bored anymore. And how being bored is when you're creative and when you come up with your ideas and how we need to be bored again and so she would do things like challenge, like do a weekly challenge of when you leave the house to go to work, don't look at your phone again until you get to work. So whatever that looks like for you if you're on the train in New York, if you're driving to work, or whatever it is, for one week, just don't look at your phone between the time you leave your house and when you get to work. So I just remember her always doing sort of interesting things like that. She's now the host of the Ted Radio Hour, which I haven't listened to, I should, because I really like her, but I started following her on Instagram and she's still sort of focusing on the same sorts of things and say like she's been highlighting the fact that there's research that if you stand up for 10 minutes every hour, her health increases exponentially, which is why everybody's Apple Watch tells them to do that, right? You don't need 10,000 steps, you need 8,000 steps. Like you do need 8,000 steps. And you should walk for 45 minutes, four days a week, whatever it is, she's just, it's very, it's all sort of scientifically approached, but it's easy, changeable, small thing you can do to improve your relationship with technology or just help. So that, Maneesh, I love Maneesh. Yep, I'm just a follower. She just has a great voice. I love to listen to her voice as well. And if you want to get back and listen to Node to self, it was a great podcast. So the next things the television show, it's on Netflix, it's so good. Created by Gali, I love Perry Minipaus. Mindy, creative. I mean, that's right. That's right. Yes, thank you. Who was approached by Jeannie Busse, who is the owner of a Lakers? If y'all have watched, what was that show? There was a show on HBO showtime. When it called showtime, it was on Netflix. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was about the like Lakers in the 80s. And that'll give you a good appreciation of that part of it. And that Jeannie Busse is now the owner of Blakers' sister, cool. But so it's sort of she approached Mindy and said, we should do a television show. It's a Mindy did. So it's loosely based on the Lakers. And it stars Kate Hudson. And it's so good. Just sort of, again, like delightful light. And there's some, you know, whatever brothers is in rehab, sort of stuff. But it just is, you know, one of those great if you're doing something else and you want a television show on, like it's good. What did you call them, crock faches? Yeah, yeah. Well, it's really good. I left it off my list last week. And as soon as we were done recording, what oh my gosh, I should have put that on there. Because it really is. There's not much really. There's a lot of tree crime out there. But this is really just fun. And so I've really enjoyed it. And the guy that it's the play. Well, yeah, there is what's his face is in rehab. What's his name? He's so good. Just a just a throw. Together we'll figure out a name. We have one brain. But I think I texted you this because we were talking about famous children that are in shows that we like. And the basket of all player that is unhinged and ends up going to rehab is Tom Hanks's oldest son, who has struggled for a very long time with a lot of stuff. And I thought I did a great job. Like I was really pleased to see him doing well and doing good things. And that role was kind of perfect for him. But it's really cute. And Kate Hudson's great. I love it. Yeah. Yeah. And it's got the guy. So her fiance is the guy from New Girl. It's just a really good fun cast. It's good. Yeah. The guy, the head coach was on Issa Rae show on HBO. Oh, OK. I don't know. I didn't know him. And I didn't know the other two brothers. Yeah. One of the, I was just thinking about saying, one of the brothers, not the Kiku for Cocoa Puffs, one of the other brothers. He reminds me of Jason Bateman a little. His mate likes to look like the way he talks and is mannerism. Anyway. It's really, it's a good show. So good call. And then the last thing is a book I just read. It's called a dual inheritance. OK. Get my phone back out. Put it on the list. By Joanna Hersho. Hersho. If you don't follow Pernassus Instagram account, you should. Yeah. And get on there twice a week. Two days, it's usually like a new release that she likes. But on Fridays, she does a thing. If you haven't already read it, it's new to you. And I think this was in one of her Friday recommendations. Yes, it was. And it was, and sometimes, too, she'll say, if you liked this book, then you also need to read these books. And it was, this was definitely one of those. Where if you liked this book, you'll love these books. And it was one where she was like, I don't know why this wasn't at the seller. I don't know why this didn't take off. I love this book. It's great. And so I read it. And I also really liked it. It's sort of a generational follows, you know, it starts with three people. And then it just follows their lives for 50 years. I love it. And so it's good. And there were times I have noticed about myself I'm losing patience with main characters who make stupid decisions over and over again. See, for example, the women, um, nobody's ever really good. So what was happening? There were times where I was like, could we please stop doing this? Yeah. Um, but overall, it was very good. So good. And I added it to my list. I did see that. And I'm glad you brought it up. Because for whatever, I usually when I answer stuff like that, and it sounds like something I'd like, I usually get right in and add it to my wish list. But I didn't. And so I'm really glad that you said the name again, so I can do that. And I'll remind everybody that I have started using leakybro.fm instead of audible. Yes. And I really like it. So if you're looking to cut the cord with audible, well, and I've fortunately now have Margaret up at Bears books and she orders me whatever I want. So I have. Leighbro. We're all together. Leighbro.fm. You can choose a local bookstore. It'll be with your local bookstore automatically, but you can choose a different one if you want. And so instead of Amazon, get in credit for your monthly purchase, it goes to your local bookstore. And then is it Leighbro that we decided we were going to use? No. What is it? Leighbro. I'm using Story graph. Story graph. Story graph is the good reads replacement. Two read. That's what I want to add. That's where I need to add this book. Not on my. The federal government this week has kept funding for library science. So now would be a great time to be sure that you have the Libby app on your phone as well. If you're an audio book person or you or Kindle audio book or Kindle, make sure you have the Libby app and pair it with your library card and use it as well. That's always in the first go to always look at Libby first and if Libby didn't have it, then I go to Libro. Fm. One of the reasons I love my little church is that we first of all, the librarian is an attender. We don't have any member yet because we're not officially chartered. So she's an attender and I love her. And some people in my congregation saw all this happening and we are doing a book drive. And I may or may not from the pulpit suggested that we all get banned books. Or I get off the children's ban book list to donate to children. So that's another way you can help your local library is go to the store and buy the books and donate them brand new to the library so they don't have to use their own funds to get them. Yep. And I saw I did see, I can't remember, I think maybe on Thursday's a librarian who I follow had her most recent order canceled for fear that it would violate some new policies. So yeah, that would be great to buy the books that they may not be able to pay for themselves and that way they're still in the library for the kids who need them to read. Look at that. Love it. That's what you do when you challenge a bunch of attorneys in a small town to ban books is they find a legal way around it. So it's great. So what's going on this week, Katie? Don't be shocked. I am reading about Jesus. This week as well tomorrow I'm going to make Konga which means I'm going to get my bears books and pick up the book she has for me. I'm going up there because it's almost cherry blossom time and I will not be going to any of the cherry blossom events because I don't like crowds and people. However, if you're around making there's some wonderful events or some good concerts, the balloon glow, the Indian or the national, what is this? It's a national park now or about to be. Well maybe not. We don't know. Oh, Indian. Indian. The national monument national park about to be. You know, it's like with the men I've said this before, I don't mean any disrespect to anybody but when you've called it the same thing your whole life, it's really hard to change your brain, especially in period of time. Somebody asked me today, I said, well, I'm sitting on my sofa. I can see somebody asking me if I was to move back and do. Yeah. I'm sitting on my sofa and I can look at the Gulf. Were you looking at the Gulf of America or the Gulf of Mexico? I almost. I came real close to getting you that better Southern or T-shirt that says Gulf of Mexico. I hadn't ordered it yet but I'm going to take it by anything right now because I got to pay for a surgery. There we go. But I'm going on to make in tomorrow my friend Chris Abbott, one of my lovely guys, I have a hair remuner. And I get he's doing the flower arrangement for the old city flower show from Albary. And if you're in making this weekend, it's another beautiful event. These churches, I think we're at Christ Church this year. But they do, they fill every available space. Each church takes a different space, some garden clubs I think take spaces to and they put arrangements around the sanctuary and then the fellowship hall and all over the place. And it is one of the most beautiful events. There are some amazing altar guilds that do really pretty work. And when I was at Mulberry's, I remember Chris and I used to do all the flowers and I would say, you need more over here, you need more of there. We have this little language and we haven't done it in a while. So I'm really excited to go back up there and help him with his flower show. I'll definitely send some pictures of that. But if you're in town, it's really one of the prettiest events that they have in making. So go do it. That's fine. Yeah. Good. So that's about it though. That's fine. I mean, I know what you've got coming up, but I would like for you to share as much as little as you would like about what you have coming up, ma'am. Yeah. Go to the mentioned. I'm going to Nashville. Are you're a devoted listener, Elizabeth, bought tickets. There's a new venue that has opened in downtown Nashville called the Pinnacle. Okay. When Casey Musgraves opened it, I think week before last. Okay. Okay. But Jason is having several concerts there starting Thursday night. So Elizabeth, bought tickets back in October for us to go on Friday night. So I love it. I'm headed to Nashville. I don't have a dog, which means I can fly. And my brother-in-law was kind enough to donate some miles. So it's free. There we go. So I'm flying to Nashville on Thursday. I'm sure we will go to some Vanderbilt baseball games. And Jason isple concert. So I'm going to go to my mother's house and see what she is ordered off of Instagram that I need to return. And that's it. So good. Good. Good. Well, that'll be exciting. We can't wait to hear about it next week. But in the meantime, y'all have fun. Find something fun to do. Don't sneeze too much outside. Go find your people and enjoy this beautiful weather. Bye, y'all. Have a good week.
