Mandy. Hello, Katie. Is your throat clear? Are you ready for this? No. Okay. Listen, there's a thing when you've had sinus surgery. I don't think I have as everybody. I think it's just people who have had sinus surgery. My friend Juju had warned me of it because when she was in Costa Rica for spring break last year, she went surfing and then several hours later at dinner, all of a sudden all of the water that went up her nose while she was surfing came pouring out at dinner. Is that how you feel? So it typically well and it only like it's not all the time. It's just like if you do a nasal rinse, then your nose just drips and drips and drips and drips and then you turn it a certain way and all of a sudden it made it out and it's just surprising. Well, listen, last time I did a nasal rinse before this morning was sometime last week and I've been doing it. I need to get on the routine. I haven't been doing it right, but I have an antibiotic in nasal rinse form and so I've been trying that and but it was last week that I did it and all of a sudden last night my nose started dripping as if I had just said a nasal rinse and it was like the cut that that antibiotics yellow. It's not like in fact, it's not yellow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that's what was coming out of my nose a week later, a week later. Either that or my brain matter is just coming. I don't know. That's usually gray. Unless you're radioactive. That's usually gray. I don't even know at this point. It was just every time I rolled over, I'd wake myself up with just stuff coming out of my nose. It's disgusting. That's not y'all. It's not snot. That's too thick. It's stuck up in there. It ain't coming out. This is just everything I put up there to try to get it out. It's just I'm gonna have to just start wearing those nose hammocks again, just all the time. Please. Oh, please. Can we get them like applique? You know, like we used to do our masks. Yes. I have messages on my nose hammock. So it reminds me of my, you know, I've said it before and I haven't posted this picture lately as my, my, whatever you call it, picture, my main picture on the socials. Yes, profile picture. There you go. Words don't work for in my brain anymore. It's okay. We're all there. So my, I was cross-eyed when I was little, but not only was I cross-eyed, my cousin was cross-eyed and she had to wear a patch. And it reminds me of, when you said that, it reminded me of the patches she used to have to wear with, and her mama would make them with like rainbows and eyelet lace. So I feel like that would be good under your nose as like a rainbow. My college roommate Dixie used to put eyelet lace on the bottom of her jean shorts. There we go. Yeah. There we go. I love it. I love it. Well, do you want to just finish up since we kind of started with you anyway, Mandy? Well, sure. If you want me to, Katie. I love that. Yeah, I'm still sick. That's basically what's, what's going on. Yep. Just the never ending, the never ending. Never ending privilege. And then other than that, it's all Olympics all the time, which we'll talk about in a minute. Although spring training, pitchers and catchers reported yesterday. And then of course, because we are the Braves, we immediately got news that Spencer Schwellenbach is on the 60 day aisle. Oh, really? So I don't know what we're gonna do. It's, you know, was, I guess, 22, the year after we won the World Series. Anthopolis, or maybe it was 23. Anthopolis traded for this big dog catcher, Sean Murphy. And his first half season that he was with us, he did great. Made the All-Star team. He was terrific. And then he was good. And then he was hurt. And then he came back and was good. And then he was hurt again. And so he had surgery in September on his hip. And he's not gonna be available until at least May. And so yesterday Anthopolis traded for a younger than Murphy, I think. I think this guy, catcher. But so the whole speculation is what's, what are we doing? Because, you know, we have Drake Baldwin, who was the rookie of the year last year, who's a catcher. Okay. And now we've got, so we've got him, we've got Murphy, who's supposed to be like big dog. So anyway, people think that Murphy could be a big trade piece. And so I wonder if maybe we're not gonna trade him and try to get some more starting pitchers since while I'm back. We'll mark this and see if you're right. That's what I can't wait to see if Mandy's theories are right, which I totally think they probably are. And then AJ Smith Schaver, who's another of our young studs, he had Tommy John last year. So he's not gonna be available until later. And then we got Chris Sale, who's been awesome the past two years, but he's 111 years old. So there's always the chance that he's not gonna be awesome this year. I mean, it's just we're just really, and we signed Hassan Kim to be our shortstop. And about, I don't know, two weeks after we signed him to a one year, $20 million deal, he hurt his finger. And he's gonna be out, he had to have surgery. So he's gonna be out until like, I don't know, June. I just don't know. Anyway, that's so yeah. In other news, I'm very excited. Kyle Wright, who's a B&B boy, and then pitched for the Braves. He had a 20 win season a couple years ago. He y'all sorry, 98 is shut down. Because there was some sort of hazardous material spill. Oh, and so of course, everybody's coming down 38 instead. So we've got a traffic cop out there at my four way stop. That is great. And if you've ever if you've ever been at a four way stop, and you haven't been real sure what to do in the the traffic directing cop is looking at you harshly. And you're wondering if they're judging you and yelling at you. Yes, they are. She is raising cane out there. Get it girl. God, I'm cracking up. Anyway, sorry. I love it. No, no, I love it. So anyway, Kyle Wright, the year after he won 20 games, had to have shoulder surgery. And you hear about pictures having elbow surgery, Tommy John surgery all the time. Shoulder surgery is a whole other thing you did bad. And so he's been out for two years. He was with the Royal, we traded him to the Royals. And he's trying to come back last year and just then he would have a different injury. But anyway, I saw last night, he has signed a minor league deal with the Cubs. So fingers crossed that Kyle is going to be healthy and can make his way up and he indeed speaks to be reunited. He was the one that was that was with Deansby at the press conference. When they went to sit down and there was an orange Gatorade on the table and Deansby said we don't do orange that the way in that scenario was Kyle Wright. I'm very excited about that. So and then once you know, once the Olympics are over, then we'll be moving on to the world baseball classic. So yes, and I'm very excited. I hope that you will give us some people to watch. I don't know if I need to I need to do a deep dive myself. Listen, I'll be glad to educate the people. As my friend Alison once said about me, she said, no, it's fine. We love we love that you get into the things that you get into like you do and that you're so willing to share your knowledge. You just need to make sure somebody wants to hear it. Well, if you don't like the Olympics, so this is not the place for you, or college football or baseball. We gonna do a deep dive y'all. We are. The Berksman just texted. She was like, I hadn't watched any Olympics. I'm ashamed to say she said, is it too late? And I said, absolutely not. And then I went on today's highlights will be blah, blah, blah, blah. So I was filling her in on the whole ice dancing the French team. Yeah. She was like, I saw your Instagram story about that. And I thought to myself, who needs days of our lives or soap opera digest when we've got MC covering the Olympics beat for us. Yes, we do. I love it. Yeah, so I'm sure we'll get to all that. I didn't put many notes in there. But like, there's a lot that I would like to discuss today. Listen, all Olympics. So what's going on with you other than the Olympics? Well, other than the Olympics, I have a new occupant of 21 Parsonage Road, and her name is Maggie otherwise known as Maggie Mae. She just opened one eyeball to look at me. So I am the recipient of a rehomed Cavalier King Charles redhead. And that means two redheads in the house, which, you know, it's great. We're all great. Everything's great. She is six years old. She's very sweet. This family has a lot of teenagers. And so as they got busier and busier, there was less and less time to spend with Maggie. And so they thought it was better for her that she be with someone that could give her some time. So that's what we're doing. She's looking at me like, why are you talking about me, Heifer? So a couple things about Maggie. First of all, she does not like train whistles, which living by a train track with a crossing that is active every 20 minutes is a challenge. That's disturbing. It's disturbing for Maggie. She's not used to the trains. She's getting there. She's better. She doesn't bark all night anymore. So that's nice. She snores even when she's awake. Her ears do too, Maggie. She's looking at me like, good somebody else. Her ears get wet when she drinks water and she drinks a lot of water. So her little ears stay wet, which is so fun. She does play and where honey does not know how to play. She's never fetched a ball for me. She doesn't play. She jumps up and down and gets excited, but she doesn't play play. And so what I'm hoping is that Maggie can teach honey how to play. Okay, great. We're still adjusting with honey's little heart, you know. We're having issues. They'll be friends. We're getting there. It's very sweet of you to do that. And I think it'll be good for both of them. I think it will be. Maggie is not used to walking. And so today was a dragging day, but we're not giving up. We need to lose a little weight. Apparently, the mom of this family would get up in the mornings with Maggie and feed her and tell the rest of the children that she had been fed. And then they would all proceed to feed her anyway. No, listen, I saw the Q's little Instagram reel where it was a golden retriever sitting next to a little three year old and look, the big three year old. I mean, that traffic cop is raising hell out there, y'all. The little boy, they were kind of standing in the corner, like when they were both sort of facing the wall, like that both of them were like their heads kind of hung down like they were in trouble. And the mom says to the little boy, why is the lid off the treat jar? And he turns around and he looks at her and he says, because he was hungry. Yep. And she says, so you gave him a treat. And he says, I gave him all of them. That is pretty much Maggie's life. What Maggie's been doing. So she is not thrilled that she's down to one scoop in the morning and one scoop in the afternoon. But she is a Hoover. So she cleans up big time. She's our cleanup batter. And she is lickety split clean down there. So with the bowls. So we're good. She's good. But we'll get there. It's really sweet. It's been fun to have her. So I'm excited. Yeah. So last week I was in Atlanta, like I said, and I was listening to podcast driving and ours came home and I realized I said the name of the place wrong. So I went to a place called the Majestic Diner in Atlanta. It's on Ponce. If you were in Atlanta, it is like three doors down from my favorite Mexican places in Atlanta called El Ponce. But this is like an elevated Waffle House. And so it made my heart very happy. So I highly recommend the Majestic on Ponce. It is delicious. The staff was super sweet and it was just great. And then the only other thing happening down here, besides the trains running every 20 minutes and pissing Maggie off, is that it's burning season and my house smells like smoke because somebody around here is burning. And it had not until last night. And I was like, wait a minute. Sorry, I'm not burning anything. What the hell? So I'm sorry. We're working through that, but it's fine. It's, you know, it's all part of living in South Georgia. So other than that, I feel like and I hope nobody from my church is listening to this, although they don't care because they know how hard I work. But I feel like watching the Olympics is my full time job. It is on all the time. I will say before we get too far into actual Olympic moments and athletes, I like because I go to bed so early, I like that I can watch it and have it on all day and keep an eye on it. And then I don't have to watch at night and stay up late. So I'm kind of digging that it's over in Italy. I'm not sure how I'm going to do with it in L.A. when it's, you know, we have to stay up till midnight to watch it live. But I kind of like the coverage in the way it's set up this year. So working from home is helpful with that. But anyway, Mandy, tell us about your Olympic wins this week and misses and stories and all the things. Well. I got really into curling, y'all. Same, same. Got really, really, really into curling. Katie takes me one day. She's like, are you watching the some ice skating something? I was like, no, I got really involved in this curling match. Grace, it was I don't remember. Yeah. So Corey and Corey were the mixed doubles curling team. They won a silver medal yesterday. But like I've watched it enough. I've always liked I've always thought curling was funny. I mean, like, what's not funny about the sport where somebody is yelling, yes, yeah, sweep, sweep. And they're aiming for the button. Like, I'm sorry, I'm 12. But stones at each other. Watching this one, I've just gotten into like the technique and the strategy and the rules and all that. So it's been much more like I've learned a lot, like I've always like and I still don't totally get it. But I understand it like I get the goal more than I used to. So that's been my biggest surprise really has been how much I've gotten into curling. But Corey and Corey is a male and a female both named Corey. The male Corey, of course, if you watched it at all, I saw he's a realtor. Of course he is. And she is a lab tech. Yes, of course she is. Of course she is. Watching the mixed doubles gold medal round yesterday, the women were shooting much better. That Swedish female curler, y'all, she was an assassin. Yeah. That cop is raising holy hell, y'all. What are people doing? I can't tell you how loud they can drive. That's what it is. Anyway, the Swedish woman, she was shooting 97 percent at one point. But when she had the last shot, I was like, well, we're toast. We're toast. They had the hammer. I know that name. Look at that. And if you have the hammer, you want to score at least two. That's what happened to us is we didn't score two the first time we had the hammer. And so then we were behind the rest of them. They were behind. Anyway, that's been fun. And she is the first female to win a curling medal for the US. That's correct. So get it, Cori. The lab tech, Cori. She was like marrying the librarian, and he's like a salesman. A realtor, yeah. Yeah, but yes, so they were super fun. Yes, I'm not into. Katie, how do you feel about the heart monitors they are placing on all the parents? I think that's dumb and stupid. I don't need that. I don't need it. I don't. I know their heart rates are elevated. I don't need you to tell me what it is. They don't need that. I'm worried about Michaela Schifrin. Me, too. Hopefully by the time this airs, y'all, she will have won something. Something. I'm very, very concerned. I heard the term, the commentator, she's the term Olympic jinx. A curse. Yes, I heard Olympic jinx. And I thought. At least she made it down the hill yesterday. I mean, last time, so Michaela Schifrin, y'all, is like, if they said it once yesterday during coverage, they said it a thousand times the best skier in the world. In the world. And last time at the Olympics, I think she was in, what, six or seven events. Yeah. And she didn't get a single medal. I don't know that she completed an event. Like, it was bad. She just would fall immediately. It was not good. It was not good. No, it was not good. So she at least made it down the hill yesterday. And she and Breezy. Breezy Johnson. Johnson and Breezy finished in fourth, even though Breezy had won. This was the combined. This is fun. They're doing like they're figuring out ways for these people to play on teams. Yes. And so the downhill, which she had won the gold medal in and she had the highest qualifying time yesterday. And Michaela stepped it up. This skier in the world, they ended up in fourth. So on paper, hopefully by the time this air, she will have won something. Otherwise, she's got the yips, y'all, I didn't get any bad and has had them for years. Just the Olympic yips. Yep. Does fine. Does amazingly in the World Cup. But the Olympics, she got the yips, which was funny. Little our little quad god. So this will come out on Friday. So Friday night will be the free skate for the men. So y'all should watch tonight because Illya, all our hated rivalry fans it's just hurt up known as the quad god. Here's the thing I told Katie this child presents perfectly as a child of Russian ice skaters who is now a teenager. He's 21, but come on like the ego and the his his free skate, which I should watch tonight when it airs. That's his voice. That's his voice narrating. So he skates to the sound of his own voice. Also, just so you know, and they said this last night on the coverage, he himself turned the coin quad god. That was that was that was where I was. Yes. Yeah. Quad god named quad god by himself. He has merchandise. Yeah. But before he was the lot, something was his social media name. Yeah. So before he landed the first quad in competition, he was Lutzi or something, which is the name of the lots is a kind of a jump for those of you who are not experts like we are. But when he landed his first competition quad, he immediately the first thing he did was go in and change all of his social media names to quad god. So listen, he's a lot. He's a lot to take. He uses a lot of hair product. His hair, y'all, as he sat in the kiss and cry last night, he had to make sure his hair was fixed. Just he's he's a lot. He's a lot to take. But he's ours. And he can back it up now with some quads. He's not wrong. He is not. Now, I was the little Japanese guy. Oh, oh, he's my favorite kind of skater. My heart like he is just the cute. He his routine that has already aired that y'all won't say is to see me wonder. It's like and he can jump. And he's a little more artistic, like the quad gods tall and has these long limbs and they're kind of flailing around everywhere. And this little Japanese will fit in your pocket. And he just gets out there and he's just whoop, whoop, whoop, spinning and jumping. And oh, he's just the cutest. He's the cutest. He's got the cutest little face. He wore at the team competition. He did not do the men's long program one. Another one of his teammates did. He's also adorable and precious who we love. But he was sitting over there in the kiss and cry with the Olympic ring glasses on, just living his best life and giggling and laughing and getting excited and jumping up and down. And he is the cutest thing. And if I was not an American, pulling for America to win, I totally would be, I'm totally team Japan. If we can't win, I want them to win because they're so cute. Yeah, they are. They are. So yeah, so the ice skating, they have the team event. That's done, America won gold in that. So we've sort of seen all the, I haven't seen everybody's routine because like the Japanese, they had two different guys do free, cause listen, just in case you don't know, there is the short program and then there's the free skate. And in the short program, there are certain things that you have to like tick off the list to satisfy in the short program. And the free skate is just that. It's longer and it's a little less constrictive. So everybody has two different routines that they do. You get more points in the free skate. And I think in the short program too, the later you do elements. So when they talk about the second half, like if he's doing three and four quads in the second half of his routine, the quad guide, then he will get more points for those that happen later because you're more exhausted. And so that's where he racks up a lot of his points. So we've seen a routine from everyone. Some people we've seen both their routines already. So it'll be interesting. It'll be interesting. So we won the gold in the team event. Hopefully by the time y'all hear this, we will have won the gold in the ice dancing. Fingers crossed, not gold, don't jinx anything. That's a story that, I mean, it'll be over by the time this airs, but we can hit on a little bit because the French team. Yes, please tell us. Is made up of the man of the French team won the gold medal at the last Olympics. Since then, his partner has written a tell all book wherein she describes a very controlling, abusive relationship between the two of them and they are no longer partners. So when that happened, he called his old pal, the Canadian, who her partner in Canada had been accused by an American skater of sexual assault and he was subsequently banned from skating for six years. So Mr. Abusive Frenchman calls Miss Canadian, who is, by the way, in real life, still with the man who's been in for six years. And so the two of them started skating together 10 months ago. You can see all of this on the Netflix special, Glitter and Gold, which they should have released a week earlier than they did so we all could have watched it and been up on it. And known who to boo for. Right, because listen, they are beautiful ice dancers. They are beautiful ice dancers. They are Disney villains. And they are currently ahead of our Americans, Evan and Maddie, who have been skating together. This is their fourth Olympics, y'all. This is their fourth Olympics and they have never meddled. So they were supposed to be the shoe-ins and now they've got these people that they're having these Disney villains and so hopefully by the time y'all hear this, they will have won gold. Hopefully. Can we just talk about Maddie's matador cape? The ordeal of this cape when you watch that Netflix special, you will learn that it used to be much longer. Maddie designs all her costumes as well as costumes for other teams. But she designed this costume and the skirt was much longer. And when I tell y'all that this skirt cape has been a subject of consternation in the skating world for this entire season, I'm not overselling it if you watch the Netflix special. So anyway, hopefully they won gold. They will win gold in approximately an hour. Please, dear Lord. Yeah, so then what's left will be the women and the pairs. And so our women are Amber, who is, she is a gay athlete who is out and proud. Love it. And we support her in all of that and hate the fact that she's been getting so much hate on social media that she's just completely gotten off of it, she says. Why people, why people are we doing this, why? And then the other girl, I can't remember her name. She has the funniest little hair. It's just striped hair. Yes, and she's got piercings in her gums, in her front gums. Listen, girls. Yes, I love that. But she did great in the team skate and despite being almost missing, she was trying to get to the arena and JD Vance's motorcade made her late. Idiot. I, look, yeah. I love that we have people, a lot of people. I mean, every one of these are just boldly individual. And I might not love the striped hair, but I appreciate the striped hair. I might not do it to my own hair. I may not pierce my gums because I'm afraid of needles, but she is adorable. And I don't care anything else other than she is adorable. And I want her to win. So everybody else needs to get in line. Is I have learned from the slope style and the snowboard, that has a lot of math in it. Yes, oh, you texted me this the other day and I agree. Can we make that like the figure skating where it's like a four rotation? Or a double or a quad. No, no. I don't know what a 970, four and a half. Like, what are we, huh? I need to get my calculator out to divide by 360. I can't do that math that fast in my head. Yeah, not that I can tell how many times anybody is turning anyway. And the fact that these people are on skis and they start out backwards and they ski on a rail and they have to go to the end of the rail for it to count. And then, Katie, they then do flips in the air and grab their skis or their snowboard or whatever. Like, listen, I just pulled a muscle bending over and having a bunch of yellow liquid drain out of my nose. What do y'all, what is happening? What is happening? I slept funny last night and my shoulder hurts. I mean, I could never. It's crazy. It's crazy. Yep. The other thing I'm interested in and they have not shown a lot, like on Primetime, is speed skating. And I feel like, you know, we used to have a big speed skating powerhouse. So those have been early. And then we kind of fell off. Yeah. And so, but I feel like we've got a really good team this year, but everything I've seen, they've been falling down. Oh, yeah. So I know Brittany won, right? Brittany Bo won. But that all happened so early in the day. Was it Brittany? I don't think it was Brittany. I think it was the girl from Ocala. Yes. Keep talking all of it. Yeah, you look. But it happens early in the day. So like the cover starts at 4 a.m. And because I don't watch the recaps at night, I haven't, because I'm not getting up at 4 a.m. Because I missed a lot of the bobsledding that way or the luge. I miss a lot of the luge coverage because it happened so, so early in the morning that I didn't catch it. But I know that we have won something and that Jake Paul's girlfriend won. Yes. Which is unfortunate that she is his fiance, I think. Because she stuck with him for the rest, for however long that marriage lasts. But, yeah. So there's- Erin Jackson is who won, I think. Yes, Erin Jackson won. Not Brittany Barry. Or did she? No, I don't think she did. I thought she meddled. Did she not? That's what I'm telling you. I don't know. I don't know what's going on in speed skating. I don't have an idea. No, they're not really covering it well. I did see a headline that Brittany both fell short. I was watching yesterday morning and our girl who's like number one in the world fell down in two different races. Geez. Yeah, so I don't know. We won a luge medal. I missed the actual running of it because it was so early. But that was the first time in forever. The Germans are big losers. And so they, and bobsledders and all that. So they usually win. But we had one of our, not even our favorite to win, won a medal there. So that was good. I like the story of the guy who won the cross country. Okay, first of all, talk about the guy. He's like the Michael Phelps of the Winter Olympics. Yes. I had Googled him before we started and then I just lost it. Yeah, so he won, he's in his like fifth or sixth Olympics or something. Like he's amazing and wins everything by, you know. Claibaut. Yeah, so they win. Laurent Claibaut. They win by like seconds usually. He wins by like tens of seconds, which is not normal. They were doing this cross country sprint, which is a course that's not quite a mile. And part of it involved going uphill. And so y'all may have seen a clip because he was right. In fact, an American won silver in this. And this is the story I like. But this guy, we have to talk about this guy first. They get to the point where they're going uphill and they have to run on their skis uphill. Y'all, he was doing the pace of a six minute mile running uphill in skis. Stop it. What is happening? That's crazy. That's when he took off and put all kinds of distance between him and the nice little American man from Vermont who won silver. And the story there is the reason that guy got into cross country skiing is because a guy from his tiny little 200 person hometown in Vermont is the only other man to have won a cross country medal for the U.S. in the Olympics. Like years and decades ago. 50 years ago. It was 50 years ago. And so this guy, Ben is his name. Ben would go over to this man's house and ski on the trails that he, like he was his mentor and 50 years later, he is the second one to win an Olympic medal for the U.S. Love it. Love it. Did you see the story about the bronze medal winner? Of that event? Yes. I did not. The Norwegian? Okay. This is where we- Wait, wait, wait. Back to as the world turns. Yeah, this is where we get back into the messiness. So this guy is Norwegian and he apparently had broken up, no. His girlfriend of six months had left him the week before the Olympics because he finally grew a conscience and told her that he had cheated on her three months into their relationship. And so instead of talking about the race and how excited he was to be a bronze medal winner at the Olympics, all he wanted to talk about was trying to get his girlfriend back. And the comments on the socials are like, girl, don't take him back. No. Well, have you seen- I saw the story that she had commented and was like- No, did she? Yeah, no. I'm not ever gonna forgive him. And also, screw him for bringing me into this. I don't wanna be talking about all of this in front of the entire world. Shut up, you idiot. You idiot. That's the biggest mistake of my life. No, this is right now. You bringing it to national TV is the biggest mistake. That is such red flag behavior. I know, right? So funny. Run, everybody, run. Yep. All right, that's all I have. What else do you have? So I find myself, it's been hard to be appropriately patriotic these days. And so I have found this, not just because we've always loved the Olympics, but especially in this day and age, finding a healthy way to be proud to be an American has been refreshing for my soul. And I'm so excited about it. I love that Snoop Dogg is still doing the Olympics in there and trying all the things. I love that. I think that he brings another audience that maybe wouldn't normally watch or care about winter sports. So, I mean, good for him. Stanley Tucci is there, which is so fun to me. I understand, but I hate that the Today Show's not there. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of fun interviews. Oh, and I also wanna talk about. Yes. Because the Today Show, I think, did a piece on them this morning. It's the hockey, the women's hockey players, three older brothers. Oh, I haven't seen that one. Oh gosh, y'all, they are adorable. So I kind of have to see if I can find her name. But she has three older brothers, all of whom played hockey in college. So she grew up in a hockey family. This is why she plays hockey. They all dress alike in some sort of, quote unquote, patriotic attire. Love it. They hassle the hell out of the refs if they make a bad call. Like they are in the stands carrying on. They are adorable. Adorable. I cannot wait to watch them. That's fun. My hockey complaint is with the commentators. So I was watching the other day. Hockey to me is like basketball. Like I love to watch it in person. It's so much fun in person, but I don't normally watch it on TV because it just loses something without being there in the crowd. But I was watching it because it was on. It was the highlight of the thing. And they kept talking about one of them, and I don't know which one. Her husband is a hockey player and came over with their three-year-old. Have you seen this coverage? Uh-huh. The women commentators keep saying things like, oh, look at that sweet daddy. He brought the baby all by himself. Pardon? Yeah. The patriarchy's strong, Katie. You would not say that about a woman bringing their three-year-old to watch. To watch their daddy play hockey. Oh, she brought him all by herself. You wouldn't hear that. It's called being a parent. A normal human parent. And this is the women. The patriarchy is strong throughout our entire society. Dang it. That made me mad, but I'm so excited. Katie Williams, the girl whose brothers are adorable. Can't wait to watch. The women's hockey team, they're kicking ass. They have already beat Canada. And that's the other reason I'm not really watching is because when it switches over, they're already up five to nothing. It's like, okay, well, we got this one in the bag. So they've been really, really doing well. So I'm really excited about that. The other thing I'm bringing is a girl. So she called, she said that she wanted to be the Winter Olympics' Alona Meyer. And she's so cute. She's a snowboarder. Winter goals? Yeah, so her name's Hannah Norman. So definitely follow her on all the socials. She gives her outfit of the day. She's done like a room tour. She's in the village. She shows all her pins that she's been getting. She's a big air snowboarder. So like brave. She's amazing. She's really cute. And so she's been doing a lot of great content behind the scenes. So follow Hannah Norman if you wish. She's really, really sweet. So love that. And that's, I mean I think we've talked about everything that I've watched as well. So just, this weekend is all ice skating all the time. And curling. Women's curling starts next I think. The women's team and the girl that won the silver, the Cory that won the silver, is also on the women's team. So we get to keep watching. Yes, Cory the lab tech. We get to keep watching her, which is great. And you know, Cory the realtor says that he's gonna be in the stands cheering her on. So I'm sure he'll try to be entertaining for the cameras as well. Indeed. Do you have anything else, anything you're excited about coming up for the Olympics? I mean, just, you know, all of it. I was trying to look at the schedule to see. So like we said, men's ice skating. We'll be on Friday when this comes out. Okay. Um, you know, women's curling will be on Saturday. Okay. Lots of skiing, speed skating, which hopefully they'll cover. Listen, the men's large hill ski jump. So good. Is on Saturday. And so you can watch it and look to see if the men's schlong looks particularly large and you will know that you're cheating if that is the case. My friend, Kelly, who has been on the podcast, but does not listen to the podcast, she sent a link to an article in Instagram. And I was like, if you listen to the podcast, you would have known about this two weeks ago. Yeah, we've already covered it. And Casey, who does listen to the podcast, was like, I just finished that episode. I love it. And I went, after we recorded that, I went immediately because I had to be in the car and I listened to Pablo Torre about it. It's an excellent episode. If you want some backstory information before the event, definitely go listen to that. He gives a really good synopsis about body scans and penile girth. There you go. There we go. Okay, Katie, we'll hit us with some favorites. So I blame my friend Jennifer, but I got hooked again because I was dropping off at about two o'clock, my energy level. And so I got hooked on the sodas again and I was drinking a Dr. Pepper every day at two o'clock. And I realized that that was probably not the best of ideas. It was not. It was not a good idea because it's, you know, whatever. So I was gonna switch and I have switched to, and I thought I would try Ollie Pop. It's got a probiotic in it and we all need those along with our protein. And so- And they don't have a lot of fiber in it? Yes, fiber, probiotics. The aforementioned Casey is a big fan of the Ollie Pop. I like the Ollie Pop. So the two I've tried are the Strawberry Vanilla and the Cream Soda. And they have, so I will say this is true Katie fashion. So they have them at Walmart in the four packs or individuals. And I ordered the four packs the correct way the first time. And then the second time I ordered them, I looked at the bags that they left at my door and I thought, that looks a little thin. What did they miss? And I ordered one can each. Oh, okay. Yeah, which didn't last long, of course. So I have tried those two flavors and I liked them very much. The next thing is something I've mentioned before but I wanted to co-sign on it because I just said that I was gonna do it. For the opening ceremonies, my dessert was that whole thing where you get the Biscoff cookies and sink them in some yogurt. Y'all, it is delicious. So I use the protein and fiber Greek yogurt cause you know, we're doing it. And so what happens is it becomes the consistency of a cheesecake crust. And it is delicious. And I put a little bit of coffee in it to make it taste like a tiramisu and it's even better. So highly recommend. Get you some Biscoff cookies. I break them in half and sink them in there. Let it sit during the day and then have a delicious protein and fiber infested dessert at night. Who knew? Who knew? And then the other thing, one of my, he's a gonna be, they're redoing a house out here at the campground, a neighbor, a member at my church, a friend keeps bees. Wears a bee belt buckle, carries them around in his truck, which okay. But his bees live mainly in pine trees and his honey, I was given some of his honey and it is delicious. And I put it on cheese, but I've also started putting it in my coffee. And I love it. I mean, I really, really love it. So a little squirt of honey in your coffee is delicious. Try it instead of sugar. And it's, you know, his has all the enzymes still in it. Honeybee, stop. Speaking of honeybee, we're trying to break ourselves of licking again because we're nervous all the time. So yeah, so I've been putting honey in my coffee. So I recommend that. Okay. But in the Olympics, that's all I'm doing. So there we go. I know, right? I'm hard-dressed. How about anything else other than the Olympics? Anything else. So there we go. Sometimes I watch everything twice. Yeah. Cause I'll have it on during the day, but then they'll replay it at night and I'll watch it again. There we go. Why not? Why not? Yeah, I'm working during the day, so I don't miss something. So we'll text each other during the day and just say, did you see that? Oh my gosh. And Mandy said, which is so true, which is kind of what I've got most of the day is, I've got one eye on it, which is so true. It's like our crock pot show, but like every once while we holler and scream at the TV. Yeah, and we can't listen. We have failed to mention Tara and Johnny. Oh my God. It's well established how much we love them. Johnny Weir is just a damn delight. And why can't they do all of them? They don't do the ice dancing. He does the ice dancing, but she does not. And I need them to do it all. I'm sure the lady that does it is lovely. I'm sure. But she is not, she's not as good. She's just not. They're just like, they're funny. They're relatable, but they're also educational. Yes. So. Love it. Delightful. And what's his name that they put on after? Scott Hamilton. Scott Hamilton. Let him do it too. Lord. I like his current. You do? Because Terry, you kind of, they would, all three of them together would maybe probably be a little much. Oh, maybe. You're right. You're right. So I like Terry with Johnny and Tara. And then they have Scott talking to Mike Tirico like. Yeah. And I like hearing what Mike Tirico says about watching the ice skating with Scott. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, that is fun. Maybe he could take Andrea Joyce's place. I don't hate her, but like, I think he would be fun to talk to them after and be like, oh my gosh, I was freaking out when you landed the blah, blah, blah. But they didn't, they don't ask us. Oh, all right, y'all. Go watch some Olympics. That's what we're gonna do. You can throw out a little random piece of knowledge and people will be impressed. Yes. We'll talk about the ski jumper schlong or something. Yes. And Mandy's doing a great job of keeping up on the socials this week. I'm not doing it as much, but she's posting all kinds of fun stuff. So if you're not following us on Instagram, go there. Go find your people.
