Mandy. Hello, Katie. How are ya? I got so tickled, my friend, my friend, Mandy, the vet, takes me this week. She said, I fell asleep, listened to podcasts on the plane. I fell asleep to the sound of Will Arnett, and I woke up to the sound of you. I was like, I'm sorry. Right. So sorry. It's awful. It's an awful challenge. I love it. I love it. Well, I have had a very interesting week, but the highlight of my week was that one of our listeners, who is a faithful United Methodist, and has this amazing collection of books, gifted me to memoirs, to first edition, 1800s memoirs of George Whitehead, who was one of the first Methodists in this country. And I opened the box, and I was just brought to tears. I mean, I, you know, y'all have heard me talk about, like I'm really bad at receiving gifts anyway, and then this was so special and so kind that I just, I didn't know. It took me a minute to process what I was given. That's so nice. It was the nicest thing. I'm just so thankful for this community, especially this week for a lot of reasons, but this is one of my goodness. How kind and thoughtful, and I'm just so proud to be able to own them and look at them and have them at my disposal to use. And then pass them on one day to someone else. So I'm very excited for that. So thank you. I'm sitting right here and waiting in her house because I'm next door to her right now. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, yes, she's got a thank you note on the way, but this community of listeners and friends is just amazing. And we get messages from y'all and affirmation, but this was just above and beyond. And I'm just so thankful. So I'm glad that we are here together in this, in this format. It makes me very happy and it certainly did this week. I, you will see when I post the picture of our recording this a lot, I'm not at my house. I am helping a friend of mine take care of her cats while she's out of town. And she's a vet. And so people drop off injured stray, you know, all the needy animals. And she left me in charge of five cats. One of which is recovering from a broken leg and I have to give meds to twice a day. Oh boy. Two of which are tiny, itty bitty, sweet little black kittens that I thought, you know, one of them clearly was not feeling well the other day. And I thought, oh, Lord, here I am at a vet's house trying to give her back the same number of cats that I was given to take care of. I'll leave the call just giving back a laugh. Yeah. But it's great. I don't even know. Just hanging out here today so we can give the cat's old company. We've kind of let them do whatever all week. But I don't know if any do run the cats. Well, you know, I think she's finally figured out that they will like scratch her eyeballs out. So she gets real interested. I think she wants to be their friend, but she doesn't know how to be their friend. And some of them welcome it and some of them don't. Yeah. Yeah. And the one that's recovering from the broken leg like he is in the laundry room away from everybody else. And so she doesn't like it when I close the door. And she can tell I'm in there with somebody else. You know, so we have. We have established that honey just not like anything separating. Oh, there we go. No. So she loves being here. She, in fact, I sent Mandy a picture today that I have a hard time getting her in the car. She loves Jennifer. She loves being here and she loves the whole family, not just Jennifer. So at night, when after we do all the things we have to do, I'll get in the car and she's like, I'm not leaving where you going. I'm going to live here. I'll be fine. I'll be fine. Just leave me here. But it's really fun. Somebody else has all the dogs. So it's just me and the cats, which is fun. But it's fun. It's fun. And I think we'll probably be out here most of tomorrow. We may even spend the night because I don't know how she's going to do with fireworks. And I'm not. My prediction is not well. Not well. I know. So some of my neighbors, I have a feeling they're going to be shooting them off. So we might come here and spend the night. Go ahead and get some trash at home tonight. And keep it going for a couple of days. Just the way. Now, Georgia sets off fireworks. There's this temporary pop-up fireworks stores are everywhere. So anyway, then lines are wrapped around them. So we may do that. Just so she'll have more of a quiet place to be. Because if you think I live out in the mill and nowhere, Jennifer lives way out in the mill and nowhere. So it's, I think, will be a lot quieter out here for honeybee, who's guarding me. By the way, she's, I'm at the kitchen counter. She's like, she won't even go lay down on the sofa. That's what we're doing. What are you doing for the fourth, Mandy? I am safely in sconce at Shea Barger taking care of one young, one young buster. Who's the second one? God loving. How does buster do with the fireworks? Do we know? Buster is now deaf as a stone. Oh, okay. Okay. But he's always been buster's hunting dog. So loud as this one. Don't bug him at all. That's probably why he's deaf. Probably. Which, you know, a dog who is well trained and responsive to being called is great as long as they can hear. But now that he can't hear, I'm calling him to come back. He's like, peace out. I got things to hunt. I got things to smell. I got to go. Yeah. Which is sad. I said, the new rule is when you take buster out at night that you should go out with him. Because otherwise he might go chase him or I can't answer to your whatever else he might find. Well, that's sad. But buster's like, I'm out. But I said, I end up running and like chasing buster around the yard every night. Like, buster, he can't hear me. And I'm still just yelling at him. I'm like, I don't know why I'm yelling at you. You can't hear me. Yeah. That's like I have full conversations with honey and she doesn't understand a bit of it. But she just can't talk back. But she understands. Right. That's true. I mean, things like now, honey, I'm literally just going to walk out to the car. I'll be right back and freaks out. Yeah. Yeah. No, they understand. Have you ever seen any of those ticked out? It's mostly on ticked out, but I've seen the dogs that have the pads that have words. Oh, yeah. I mean, I guess I'm just going to step on the pad with the word, nothing. So, new law. Yeah, I wonder if that was. It's people, you know, we all, what's the word, and, and for more, and more, whatever that word is about, we make our dogs people like. Yeah. We attribute, we attribute characteristics to our dogs that they don't necessarily have. I think some of that is that, but don't you can't tell me that dogs also don't understand stuff because listen. Yeah, I'm pretty sure she understands a lot of what I say. She just doesn't care. Well, best of care is he can't hear you anymore. There we go. So that's a challenge. But Bert was like, he really sleeps a lot these days. She is not kidding. He goes, typically, best of sleeps in the bed with me whenever I'm here. But I were old as I pulled his dog bed in the, in my bedroom, just, you know, tie it in there. And he gets on that dog bed and he does not move all day. All day, he is on that dog bed. It is crack. I'm at pizza right now. He doesn't have any love or anything. Like he's an eventually like late in the afternoon, you know, three o'clock. I'll like wake him up and be like, buddy, you want to go outside? So he'll go out in the front and he'll walk around a little bit and then he'll just come and lie down on the stairs. And be a bit potato for a little bit. And then he'll come back and get back on the bed. Dooses. So it's funny. But for the fourth buster and I will be here. I was here two years ago on the fourth and you can see some fireworks across the. Yeah. Yeah. And which is pretty. And there's some other friends of theirs stay in the little guest house. And they were they they came over yesterday and were swimming and grilling out. And they were asking me what I was doing for the fourth. And I was like, oh, listen, you know, I live on 30 a. And so I'm just glad to be away from people and they're screaming children. I said to them is their children screamed in the pool. I'm just glad not to have people write downstairs talking loudly. I said is they. Girled out right under my window. Yeah. So, no, I won't I'll be laying live. So it's an exciting, nothing exciting. Probably watch the Braves lose. Yeah. I can't decide if I'm going to watch Masters of the Air or not. Sure. If my heart can take it this year. Yeah. So we'll see. We get so braves news this week. Oh, I can't remember if we already had the news last week when we reported that Chris sale was out with a broken rib. No. Yeah. Okay. When we started this season, we had Ronaldo Lopez. We had Chris sale. We had Spencer Schwellenbach. We had AJ Smith Schalber. We had to have a fifth one. Oh, great homes. It looks like he powers. Hmm. Those were our five pictures on opening day. And Chris sale is out with a broken rib. Ronaldo Lopez has been out like he had after Tommy John. So he's been out all year. AJ Smith Schalber had to have Tommy John about two weeks, three weeks ago. And now yesterday we got the news that Spencer Schwellenbach has a broken elbow. Have they broke it? Did they get hit? He said he thinks so all of a sudden his velocity was up like his last couple of starts. Uh-huh. And so he thinks maybe perhaps the exertion and the pressure that he was putting on his elbow to get. He broke his elbow. He broke his elbow. And he has broken his elbow. So he can figure because he wasn't hurt. He didn't. What an accident or anything. So yeah. And so originally Chris sale. They're like it's a small break in his rib. He broke his rib. Layed out. He pitched a complete game. And for the second out and the ninth inning, he dove off the mound and caught a ball and that broke his rib. Because that's what happens when you're in a 37. So yeah, I just. I mean, get. Look, at 47, I cannot imagine diving for anything and coming back with all my bones. And I thought that when he made that play. And he's he's real. He's tall and skinny like he didn't have any meat on his bones at all. Um, but anyway, I still am like it's like I told Ben Ingram when we met him. I was like, I just keep waiting every night. I can't stop myself from thinking, Oh, okay. Well, we're going to turn the page. And then even after the news about swell and bark yesterday, we won the game last night. Our offense finally came alive and we won the game. Yeah. And then we went to two. And so it's like they do that thing where you're like, I'm out. I'm done. Like yesterday. I told the girls on the text. I was like, well, would you like a Chicago Cubs primer? So the chalk and have somebody to read for in the postseason? Because like, there's no way. There is no way we have no more starting pitching. Now green and Spencer strider has come back. But I'm sorry he is, but when man. We've got Kenny powers and Spencer strider. And last night, a 21 year old kid was pitching for us. And I don't know who in the Bumble DeHail we're going to call it to replace swell. Bob. Is there any party? Why do they keep pitching? No, this kid just came up and let me tell you he's he's done okay. But case he's like, why do they keep pitching this kid? I was like, because apparently you and I are not available to come pitch. And that's their only other option. Oh my gosh. I'm going to throw a ball at like 15 miles an hour if I could get it over the. I didn't get it. I'm going to play. I'm going to play. I'm going to play. So can we hear it out softball distance, please? Oh God. Anyway, but I still just got. Uh, Jurek some prefer the kid who got the 80 game p.d. suspension. He was back last night. Anyway, the braves man, the braves. Here we are. And Chicago has been scuffling a little bit, but they're still. They're still ahead in their division. So it's good. But we did have some good other good news was the all stars were named and. There you can. Okay. It's going to be starting. He's going to be starting. He's also participating in the home run derby. Okay, that'll be fun. The other two outfielders are somebody we've talked about a lot on this podcast. One Pete Crow arm strong. It's made his first all star game. Yeah. And then the other outfielder is Kyle Tucker who's also a cub love it. And Freddie Freeman will be our starting first base one. So yeah, so some good friends some good friends of the party. And other baseball. Clayton partial got his 3000 strike out last night, which is just. A huge thing. I can't. I think there may be four players in the history of baseball who have more strikeouts than Clayton partial. So that was really cool to say. Yeah, we're almost to the all star break. I got an email giving me early access to MLB. I mean to all star game tickets. Just look and see how much they cost to sit in the nose bleed. Literally, like we're Kelly and Sanders and I set for that playoff game several years ago, which was the last row of the stadium. Those tickets were like over $500. So, um, well, where are they playing at Lane. Oh, oh, oh. Atlanta. Tim Ting. Yeah, no. Dad, no, the home run Derby. That was my last. DC perk. Is I left DC on July 1st. And the all star game was in Atlanta that year. And so I had just asked around us to think I have tickets to the all star game with a home run to every whatever. And so one of the lobbyists who got in a couple tickets to the home run Derby. Some of that and I got to go to the home run Derby. So that was fun. That was fun. Yeah, but sorry, yeah, I'll probably just be here. I'm pretty sure I can't remember if you're pitching on the fourth at your lab. But Charlie Morton, who was a brave for the past several years, he's the one you'll remember in the World Series when we won in 2021. Um, one of our pitchers had a ball hit off their. She and I think it was and then finished out the ending. And then come to find out his leg was broken. Oh, yeah, I remember that. Yeah, that's Charlie. Yeah, I remember. Um, and he, he, uh, he was a free agent and went to the Orioles. Okay. And so he'll be back. He'll be back. And I'm, he may be pitching on July 4th. I can't remember. So anyway, so that's what I'll be doing for the fourth. I love that. I've got some, uh, got some Pearson farm peaches, which one James Barger left for me. Look at that. Well, the, the other friends were in the kitchen last night. The wife looked and she goes, are those Pearson farm peaches? How, how, where, and I was like James left him for me. Not for your loud self. And I did go to, um, what says it Uncle Don's cousin Don's, whatever they're doing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just going to go to the market over close to Southern Salt Barbeque. You know what, by the way, yesterday and picked up some tomatoes. I haven't cut into them yet. So I don't know. They're going to be good or not, but I have some tomatoes. I have some peas. So I have been frequenting the farmer's market in Cordillo. And it's got beautiful stuff. And I'm just so thankful. Um, for that whole place. I'm actually shipping. Yes. Indeed, indeed. Well, speaking of food, Katie. So, um, a couple of weeks ago now, um, so y'all know I live at a campground. And about once a year, one of the original families that had a tent out here, now has a, it's like a concrete block structure comes out for a week. They eat and they fellowship and they come together for a week. And they've done it every year for a hundred years, literally. And so they were very, very kind and had me over for one of the best soul food spreads. I've ever had like good Southern cookin' frito, croit mac and cheese and hominy. You know, you name it pork chops. And anyway, it was great. And one thing they had, which I had never had before, I have had a pear salad. I love a pear salad. It's not really a salad. If you know anything about Southern cuisine, it is a pear and mayonnaise and cheese. And they got real fancy and put a marrichino on there. But they also had. Pear salad, sassy or cousin, banana salad. Have you ever had it? Well, one thing you should know about me, Kay. Oh, is I did not eat bananas until I was a grown-ass adult. Okay. And I still am not the biggest fan of mayonnaise. Okay. Well, the idea of eating a banana salad. It's not for you. If you are not like Mandy, if you are like me and occasionally love a banana sandwich, which is banana and peanut butter and a little bit of mayonnaise to cut the sticky of the peanut butter, how much I can save her face right now. Then you're gonna love this banana salad. I loved it. This is a banana just like with a pear in half and cutting about two-inch sections. And then you put a double of a mayo on it. And then here's the thing that they did that was just genius. They got some fresh peanuts because we have a peanut place here called Ellis Brothers. They got some raw, you know, not roasted fresh peanuts and ground them. So not into a peanut butter, but just in like a dust. And they dusted the bananas and the mayonnaise with peanut ground peanuts. And it was delicious. So if you like a banana sandwich, this is for you. She said the, my friend that is the one that I know from this family better than the rest, said that you can use whole peanuts if you really want to. But there was something magical about ground peanut dust. I can get behind that. Like if you want to put that on some ice cream. Yeah. I'll be there for that. Yeah. So there you go. So I just grind peanuts and use it. I think that that sounds delicious. But it was so good. They have it every year. She hates pear salad, but loves banana salad. I'm like, how could you like one and not the other, but whatever. So, um, here's the other thing. I don't want bananas in my dessert. Well, right. Okay. Yeah. Don't give me a banana cream pie. Don't give me banana pudding. No. And then is bananas or to be eaten by themselves. Okay. Perhaps with a little peanut butter on them. If you're looking for a little protein yet, you could put a little peanut butter on them. They can go in cereal. Mm. And they can go in bread. Okay. That's the only, in a smoothie, you can blame them if I'm a smoothie. That's the only proper use of a banana. Okay. Anything else is not right. Okay. Well, I enjoyed the banana salad. Am I going to make it for myself? Probably not. Would I take it to a Southern kind of picnic? Maybe. I mean, it was really good. So, um, anyway, big thank you to the Cook family, not that they're listeners, but big thank you to the Cook family. They were very, very kind and they were very sweet to honey. And we went and enjoyed their company all week and they were very welcoming. And they were very proud of me. Oh gosh, the spread, y'all. I mean, it was there was nothing like. I thought new and different earth shattering it was just the best version of everything. It was so good like I was ready to fight. I got over the last piece of crack on cornbread. Like I was really going to throw down. And he decided since I was a preacher, I get out of it. I said, I'm going to fight you. I mean, I'm not above it. It was delicious. Just a great, great welcoming place. So the other things that I have for food are three things that I have found at this great store and pit store. You know, I know you think pit store, you think where? Pits. Right, but it's about as big as this living room. It is very small. But my friend Jennifer, whose house I'm at right now, was like, Katie, we gotta go to pits. You gotta meet my friend Valerie and go to her store and I was like, in pits, because you know, you gotta make it two syllables in pits. It's it pits. It's an old gas station. It's called the station. And some farmers, they make their own oils, all of our farms, oil. And they, I like the way you pointed out the pronancy, you make you changed your pronunciation of it to be more certain. Yes, you just and seemingly say all all I know. You know, I continue. They grow sunflowers. They have these beautiful sunflower fields all around pits. Pits. I don't say it like that, or really all around pits. And then they press the sunflower seeds and make this wonderful oil that I use. They have it plain and then they have it. Eat a little Katie. I know. And then they have it's seasoned like you did bread in. Right. And so then they, but there's also all kinds of other seeds that they're growing. They have been in. Hey, are they allowed to do that in in in the middle of red Georgia? Right. They've been in Southern living. They just filmed a documentary for PBS that is going to air about the. Oh, no. Oh, no. You know what? There are pockets that you would never. Never, never guess. They have oak receipt all that they make that you can buy. And they use heirloom, okra and the guys over at comfort farms, which I know we've talked about them. They do a great job for our vets. And sorry, honey, circling. So anyway, they're partnering with them and that's who's going to be in the PBS special with them. They charge a lot of money for oak receipt oil. I haven't bought any of that. I've just done the sunflower seed oil and it's really good. Probably. I don't know. harvesting oak receipts. I don't know. I haven't looked. I've linked. So their website will be in the show notes. So go check out everything that they have. You can see where you know, read all the articles where they've been in all the things. And when the PBS special comes out, I'll definitely let you know we're going to do a viewing party. So anyway, but she is great. She carries local artists. She carries at the station. She carries local farmers. Like I've gotten some farm fresh feta that's so delicious there. And there's a guy that raises cows and pigs and all the things. And the meat is there. So it's just a wide variety of beautiful stuff. And so Valerie does a great job. So check out all of her farms and their oles. The other thing that she sells is some other food stuff. And let me tell you what. The beautiful, brownie sea salt is the best stuff. It is life changing. I am normally a tomato sandwich purist. Like I just want tomato, white bread and mayonnaise. But I put their French picnics salt on it now. And it is divine. I use their campfire salt on all my vegetables. And it's a little bit smokier. So it's just y'all. It's the best stuff. She sells it at the store, but I've linked the website where you can order it directly from the company. And then I don't know. Have you ever done the red clay hot honey? Have you ever seen that, Mandy? Yes. Yeah. So I love their hot honey. I use that. I have some in my cabinet. But she also sells this Verde hot sauce. And it's like a green tomato based sauce. And I'm here. Naded piece of fish in it. And then put a splash of it in my homemade tartar sauce, which y'all knows real easy. It's which Mandy wouldn't like it though. It's mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish and lemon juice. And then I added a splash of the hot sauce, the Verde sauce in it. Y'all. It's life changing. It was so good. And I've marinated pork in it. So if you come across it and see it, I would definitely grab a bottle. It is really, really good. So anyway, those are my food things. I have weirdo recipe and three new products to show. Very good. Yeah. And all of those are mayonnaise. Yeah. That people like mayonnaiseflix, just me and Travis Kelsey. And I think Elizabeth, she was a podcast Elizabeth was making the same face I was, I promised you. I'm sure I can't wait to hear back from her. But I just I love those companies. I love local stuff. Y'all know what we tried at Permette here. and I just thought that y'all would like it, especially maybe I really think he'd like that salt. I really do, so. A lot to sow, or something? Oh, good. Well, tell us about your favorites. I am interested in the first one, definitely. Okay, so the first one, and we may have mentioned it already. I couldn't remember. Oh, yes, I have seen it, yeah. It's friends and neighbors on Apple TV Plus. Which is John Hamm, which is this, let's see, it's Pete, Saturday. Yeah. Olivia Munn. And it really sort of, like when I first saw a watch, I was telling, oh, whatever, but the video didn't longer watch it. First of all, I have a love demand to Pete since she was in Jack and Jill on the CW back in the day. I'm still really excited. They canceled that show. There was more story to be told there. It greened, it was canceled in like 1998, and I'm still mad about it, but here we are. So I've loved to meet Pete a long time. She was in the Duplass Brothers did a show on HBO that was like about two couples. And I can't remember the name of it. It's Teller Show as well. Maybe it was togetherness. I don't know. I just, I mean, I freaking love him ain't the Pete. A lot of it. Whatever she is, and I'm there for. And then the longer I watched, the more John Hayum became, it became more of a modern Don Draper a little bit, which is when, let's admit it, that's when John Hayum is at his best. I could watch him, I don't know, peel an apple, and I'd be happy as a clam. I love him. But when he is playing this particular iteration of person is when he is my favorite. Right. And he's just sort of, you know, screw and stuff up, making another bad choice. And you're like, come home and, but you can't help but loving at the same time. So anyway, I just really enjoyed that show a lot. So I couldn't call it up when you were first talking about Amanda Pete, but sure, her best friend is Sarah Paulson. I could not call Sarah Paulson's name up. Looting me these days with Perry Miniple. They met on Jack and Jill. So have you, even how they know each other? I love that. I love you. That show was good. Those two together. Have you ever come across any videos of them? You, they are hilarious together. You should watch, Jack and Jill. I know. I wonder where it is on, I'm sure I'm probably nowhere. Probably not, but I'll probably say that on the CW. I'm the only person in the world that's not about it. I love it. But yeah, I loved friends and neighbors. I loved it so much. I just, the cast was great. The storyline was interesting. It was really good. It went all that to me. It was Don Draper modern times. It did. Was forgiving of other things because he's so good to look at. Yeah. But yeah, but so yeah. If you liked Don Draper, especially you should watch for the neighbors. Yes. It's gonna scratch that it's for you. And then, DAX, he keeps talking about this show on Armchair called Mobland. So good. And he keeps looking, I'm not gonna watch it. I'm not gonna watch it. And so I finally was like, well, you know what, DAX, I'll watch it for you. So good. It's Tom Hardy, who, another gorgeous human. His lips, man. Oh, God. Here's for Osmond. It's Helen Mirin. Helen Friedman. I've never hated Helen Mirin. Quite, I mean, I can't love the hater, though. I can never conceptualize hating Helen Mirin. Gosh, she's so good at it. I can hate Helen Mirin in the show. Hater. And it's Anna from Downton Avie. Yes. Who gets to kiss Tom Hardy? And I'm like, what do I have to do to get that job? Yeah. And it's modern day, you know, basically Mobland in Seton, London. Yeah. It's really sad it was kind of modern day peaky blunders. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can say that. I can say that. Yeah. But it was really good. I didn't put this on here. I'll have to add it. I can't remember. So good. I think it's called, I think it's called department key. I was next. So I asked a friend of mine. I said, if you watched that, it was recommended to me by Netflix. It's something that I would like, but I haven't watched yet. Did you like it? I did. It took me a little bit to really get into it. And I had to watch it with the subtitles on. Because I'm going to read it. Okay. Good tip. I like that. Thank you. British. And you can't watch it during the day, because it's too dark. Like you got to watch it at night, because otherwise you can't see. You have the stuff happening. Okay. And it starts and you're kind of like, I don't want to tell you because it's a twist. But it starts and you're kind of like, are we seriously going to watch this woman in this situation? Is this really what we're going to do? Okay. But it's fine. It doesn't focus on the woman in the situation that you're going to know as soon as you see it. Oh, that's what Mandy was talking about. Okay. If focus is more on how we got there and it is very interesting. It's a crime. It's a little slow horses. Okay. Yeah. British, love British crime show. I did too. I didn't want church and all those. I love them. Yeah. Yeah. So it was good. I liked it. And it has, if you watch, what was the Steve Broadway empires? What it was on HBO? The Steve, you shimmy. You shimmy. Steve, you shimmy. Yeah. That guy. Yeah. That guy. If you watched his show on HBO, Empire, what was it? Yeah. Empire. No. No. Anyway, if you watched his show that he starred in on HBO, the woman who played, was it his wife? Anyway, she was a big character on that show. And she's in this. Boardwalk, Empire. Boardwalk, Empire. That's it. Yeah. Anyway, that was, that was another good one. And then I just have to reiterate, if you have not yet listened to Good Hang with Amy Foller, I know I've already talked about it, but y'all it is so good that I have to say it again. You just have to listen to it. I love her. Did you watch her crafting show that she did? Oh my gosh. It was hilarious. It was the weirdest dumbest show, but it was so good. So it was like a, she did one with his mega Malale's husband. Ron Swanson. Yes. So she and Ron Swanson did a crafting one. It was called Makers. And it was like a competition show and they eliminated to my every week and they got patches for their apron when they won. Like it was so, but she's so cute. And then she did Bakers with her co-star from Cernot. Well, I'm not Tana Faye, but his other one was in Bradsmaids was the Broad and Bradsmaids. Not a Kristen wig. No. The Broad and Bradsmaids. Maya? Yes. So she did a lot of stuff and she did a Bakers. So they had like home Bakers come and do all these challenges and they won patches. I bet that would make me pee in her pants because Maya would offer plenty of tubing on the face of the earth. I don't think they're doing another season, but it was so good. I think it was on Netflix. She should watch it. They both have a more hilarious. And she is just so relatable and bubbly and kind. I just love her. She is that antidote to everything else going on in the world right now. Yeah. And she's just so genuine and interested and curious and kind like just great. She had Idris Elba on this way. Good looking. And if y'all don't know, I freaking like Idris Elba is my hall pass. Are you kidding me? No, that I need a hall pass. But if I did, Idris Elba would be it. And he showed up and they were dressed so like. I thought I'd clip off it. That's funny. The end they decided they needed to like swap jerseys like they do at the end of a soccer game. And so she put on Idris Elba's jacket. She was like, oh y'all it smells just like you think it would. And then he like couldn't even get his arm and you know, they go board us back. David, because you know, you expect what she's sitting there talking with her friends. Because everybody that's been on so far, you know, has really been a friend of hers. Yeah. But she was, she was crazy with Idris. So anyway, a delight. Yeah, it just I insist. I insist you mess listen to good. Lover. And then the last thing I just stopped. Every year when I'm just started. Because first time I came and kept buster, I hadn't ended every year. But the first year I came was like four years ago. And this was before Casey and I had really spent a whole lot of time together in person. We had spent a lot of time together, we had text. And so we're like, well, we have to get a lunch while you're here. And I think that might have been our first like solo date. And we went to Fiddlers on St. St. St. St. St. And then we went to the first one. Which is Fiddlers. Fiddlers is on the marsh. It has a great view of the marsh. I know where it is. But they have a tunable and we get it. Well, Casey didn't get it yesterday because she's tuned it out because she's just been alone. But okay. But like every year I get the tunable. It Fiddlers once a year. And a watermelon. And it's just it's really good. It's great. It's tuna and coleslaw and rice and fried long tons. And they give you a sada wa sabi. Mmm. Delicious. So if you're coming to the Fiddler's, I would recommend the tunable of Fiddlers. I will actually be there not too long from now. So I will have to do that. Try it out. And we went to lunch at 11 o'clock to beat the crowd yesterday. It worked perfectly. We were going once there. We were going to have to go to the car. I don't know if you can see it. So I think that's what we are going to be doing. And we're going to have to catch our walkers in the car. But yeah. So it was good. So there we are. We left our walkers in the car. She says. Well, um, how are you? They're through the weekend or how long are you there? I leave on the night. Awesome. Awesome. Next Thursday. What are you prepared of on so many into his swings? Yeah. We had so many storms that my little and that I didn't know we're coming that Jim Cantori did not predict. So I've had a pacer all night long. Yeah. So it's exhausted. We still have with the name recall. And all that said. Yeah, yeah. So what about you, you home? I'm home. Yes, now I'm home. A couple weeks I'll be in St. Simon's with my S3 group. That's the female pastor group. We do in our retreat. So hopefully I'll also get to see some of my St. Simon's people while I'm there. That would be lovely. I haven't gotten that far in my life yet though. So I'm just trying to get through this week, but I'm just going to chill. I've been reading a lot. I'm going today back up to my favorite bookstore, Bears book. Margaret has a couple for me. So I'm going to keep reading next week. Or next time I do the food slash books, I'm going to have a long list for you all. I've really good summer reads or not summer reads easy reads. Fun stuff. So it'll be good. So yeah, all good things. Just trying to relax and decompress from the first part of the year a little bit. Well, good. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, I hope everybody has a lovely course of July. Yes, I guess the color listening to this. The day it's released, is that told somebody? I think it's Bertu and Casey. I said, yeah, I really feel like this year we should all just get a bunch of wippy cushions and sit on. Look, y'all get the fireworks. Everybody just sit on a wippy cushion. This. I mean, we try to make this a place where we can escape all the craziness, but. You know, I told somebody yesterday at my church the needs that we're about to have to help fill are going to be so numerous. And so vast is going to be very overwhelming and we're going to have to just pick something and do it because we we're not going to be able to do everything we want to do. Yeah. Because it's just so much. And that's really the only way to. To fight with this bear. Yeah, it's to you know, do the good you see in front of you that that's doing. Yeah, that's what we're. Trying to do, but it's very overwhelming. So I'm thankful that we have this space that we can come and laugh and share good things and. Order some sea salt. It'll make you happy. Kind of wippy cushion sit on it at midnight. There we go. All right, y'all have a good week.
