Find Your People Episode 23

This episode gets a full run down of Sharknado 2024 at Mandee’s condo.  We are so glad she is safe and has a new friend in a headlamp.  Katie finally got her end of semester “Katie Day” and it includes a museum.  We get to hear a run down of red carpets and championship games as well.

Katie Food:

Amish Baked Oatmeal

¼ c melted butter

½ c brown sugar (white sugar ok too)

1 ½ c rolled oats

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

½ c milk

1 tsp vanilla

⅛ c oil

Mix and bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or golden brown.  Top with sauteed apples or other favorite oatmeal toppings.

Fruit Custard Pie

1 unbaked pie shell

2-4 peaches or 1 qt berries

1 c sugar

⅓ cup plain flour

2 eggs well beaten

½ stick butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.  Prepare fruit and arrange in bottom of pie crust in one layer.  Mix sugar and flour.  Add well beaten eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.  Pour over fruit.  Bake until crust is brown and custard thickens and sets.  25-35 minutes.
