Welcome, friends, to Episode 106 of Find Your People! This week we give some guest reviews of some of our vacation rentals. Katie has a new Dr. Dolittle addition to the family and Mandee has been on a great family trip. We get a fun recipe from Gogy’s (Katie’s grandmother) cookbook and Mandee shares some amazing favorites. Thanks for tuning in and being our people!
Katie’s Food
Homemade Boursin Cheese (Table Talk p. 26)
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
8 oz whipped butter
1 tsp oregano
¼ tsp each dill, basil, thyme, marjoram, and pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely minced (I used two spoonfuls of jarlic)
Let butter and cream cheese come to room temperature. Whip butter. Add cream cheese and all seasonings. Blend together and shape into mold or pack into small containers.
Good on crackers. I used it in a quiche with asparagus and mushrooms. p. 26 of the cookbook also has a chicken recipe that uses it.
